He has been known to express admiration for/of such colleagues as David Foster Wallace, Samuel Beckett, Haruki Murakami, and, on particularly bad days, Tao Lin. That his literary tastes are included in his About the Author is a measure of how truly nonexistent his literary career is. One day, someone will recognise his sublime genius and give him lots of money.
