Motivated primarily by a fear of driving through large cities, she stayed in smaller towns and, while avoiding the major highways, discovered that rural France is filled with gorgeous villages and glorious countryside.
What better way to experience all the delights of rural France than to walk one of its hundreds of well marked walking paths?
Several of her friends also thought this sounded like a mighty fine idea and, as she started to do a little more research, she found that she had many more questions than answers.
