He is a Christian by birth; he began his walk with God after he was saved and came to know Christ as a young adult. Over the past three years, he was part of a contextual ministry to the Hindu community in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, in Northern India. He provided pastoral care to a small group of believers in a local church there.
