He is currently learning Serbo-Croat and Macrame. The former is proving tricky, but he can already speak passable Macrame.
He has, however, recently given up golf – and discovered that he has also given up swearing.
His office (in the spare room) is twinned with Milwaukee. The 50-strong inaugural delegation from the American city were rather surprised to discover that this ‘Downtown-Oxford’ was a former bedroom. Many enjoyed the hospitality of the local police before returning home. Puzzled and chastened.
Old Bill can run quite well for a sexy-genarian (Oxford spelling).
