His writings on comic book history have been published in books for Marvel Entertainment, DC Entertainment, Titan Publishing, Abrams ComicArts, Heritage Magazine for the Intelligent Collector, and elsewhere. He has been interviewed in newspapers, on radio, and appeared in the television movie/documentary, Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years. Jim has been a guest speaker at several major comic conventions, including the New York Comic Con, and has been invited to attend Comic-Con International: San Diego--the world's largest multi-genre entertainment and comic convention.
