His refusal to disclose his sources for that story to the tribunal was later vindicated in a ruling of the Supreme Court.
Keena has written about the financial and political history of a number of prominent Irish politicians, including Bertie Ahern (Bertie: Power and Money), Gerry Adams (A Biography of Gerry Adams) and Charlie Haughey (Haughey’s Millions and The Ansbacher Conspiracy).
