Even as a teenager, she began to write novel length works. Though Johnson kept writing, somehow life got in the way and it wasn't until her children were school-aged that she began to focus on writing again, publishing two works in 2014. Johnson also works as a Reading Specialist at a local school district and runs an online boutique.
Johnson lives with her two small children in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. When she isn't writing or making tutus, she enjoys spending time with her two little girls and her husband. She also has two dogs, Barkley and Duke, who carry on conversations with her children, much like Sven in Frozen.
Johnson's first novel, Deck of Cards, is a medieval romance with so many twists and turns, you won't want to put it down. Her second novel, Cordia's Will, tells the story of a young woman living in Civil War town Southwest Missouri. Cordia must choose between making her family happy and following her own heart, all while waiting for the man she loves to return from fighting to save the Union.
Johnson will publish her first series, The Clandestine Triology, in 2015. Look for Book 1: Transformation in January. It tells the story of Cadence Findley and her transformation from an ordinary college student into a Vampire Hunter. When she meets up with the Hunter Guardians, she finds herself on a journey to defeat the evil Vampire, Holland, who she holds responsible for the death of a close friend. While searching for Holland, she finds herself falling for the Guardian Leader, Aaron.
