It all started when she entered for the BBC writing competition and became a finalist for Africa in 1995. At that time though, if you were good at science subjects and wanted to be a writer instead of a doctor, everyone around you would believe you were mad!
She left her dream of creative writing and the ‘suggested dream’ of becoming a doctor to focus on a career in Sales Strategy & Business Development. All the while, she missed her first love which was writing and has finally returned to it with Ashmedai.
Married with children, Ifeoma holds a first degree for Biochemistry and is a Commercial Strategy Expert. She has worked with multinationals like Procter & Gamble & Diageo and has travelled to many countries which can be seen in her writing. When not writing, she enjoys reading, watching cartoons with her children and fundraising for charity as well as keeping an eye on those pesky bills.

5 fun facts you don’t know about me
1) In 1989, I believed I was the next Madonna so I donned my sister’s bustier, covered my face with makeup and practiced all her songs for hours singing on top of my voice. My mother finally had enough and I had to choose between keeping quiet and getting grounded for a week.
2)I can remember a swear word in any language once I hear it once.
3)I Love! Love! Love! French deserts, sinful but worth it.
4)The first car I drove turned me to a mechanic, also it would stop working once I was around anyone I wanted to impress. I was happy to upgrade it.
