He previously served as the Director of Digital Content Development, Marketing and Publicity for a Los Angeles-based entertainment company, which had an exclusive deal with 20th Century Fox. In his capacity, he established dynamic social media campaigns that effectively reached out to the company's target demographics.
Most recently, he was the Senior Executive for Media and Public Relations at Al Jazeera Media Network, playing an integral and pivotal part in the launch of Al Jazeera America and AJ+ through aggressive publicity, strategic partnerships and outreach.
He also led the Network’s SABRE-award-winning #FreeAJStaff-Americas campaign which called for the unconditional release of Al Jazeera English’s detained journalists in Egypt. The campaign attracted global attention from prominent dailies and journalists, such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Christiana Amanpour, and Charlie Rose; the U.S. Congress, British, Australian and Canadian Parliaments; as well as numerous organizations including the United Nations, Amnesty International, the National Press Club, the Committee to Protect Journalists, the Canadian Journalists for Free Expression, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Fox is a graduate of The George Washington University where he holds a Masters in Political Management. He has written and published two novels: American Witches, and 17,000 FT: A Story of Rebirth.lihat lebih sedikit
