When she is not writing, she is an amateur backyard astronomer, enjoys playing apocalyptic board games, and has a deep love (if not deep understanding) of science. She also enjoys camping, cooking, playing music and swimming. She loathes the following: networking opportunities, meetings, drinks with strangers, the word "synergy", people who are rude to waitstaff, picky eaters, tofu, and bios.
