She wrote and produced two off-Broadway plays; the first of which was developed for the African Burial Ground Project and was entitled “Don’t see my bones and think I’m dead”. In 2001, this play was also developed into a short-film and broadcast by PBS channel thirteen. Hajee’s second play was entitled; “Tweetadopplin” and was performed at Galli Theater during the Summer of 2009. Hajee was both Theater Director and actress for Galli Theater throughout 2009, as well. In her heart, Hajee has always been a writer first and foremost. Her total literary collection consists of: 3 adult fiction novels, 2 books of poetry, a 5 part young adult book series and 4 children’s book series.
In 2011, spurred on by her desire to initiate positive change, Hajee founded a non-profit organization; Tweetland Inc. The organization’s mission is to support holistic child development with a focus on at-risk youth. Their current “Fun To Run” campaign is centered on eliminating childhood obesity. Hajee hopes to use her management expertise, people skills and proclivity towards community service to make this initiative a major success.lihat lebih sedikit
