He holds a PhD in Information and Communication Science (Tallinn University, Estonia), a Master’s degree in Digital Library Learning (Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, Norway; Tallinn University; and Parma University, Italy), and a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (Universidad Central de Venezuela). His lines of research include: informational literacy, evaluation of scientific production, open access, information architecture, and digital libraries.
