She has conducted eight peer-reviewed research studies and has published 22 articles. Dr. Adams is an active volunteer in a variety of organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society, and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Newfoundland and Labrador Brain Injury Association and the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
