Brenda was on the Board of Directors of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and held the position of UK and Ireland International Dreamtime Project representative. She is currently the vice-chair of The Grief Centre, Manchester Area Bereavement Forum, as well as being a member of the Society of Authors and the National Association of Writers in Education.
