Mac Byrum joined Jake in the writing of this book, because he has a national reputation as an experienced Catfish guide on Lake Norman North carolina. Mac has competed professionally in many tournaments in the south, ranking as high as the top ten in one national tournament.
Mac is a regular contributer to several internet fishing sites and is considered the Dean of the Mac Byrum Catfish University, where he regularly shares his experiences with other fishermen.
