TONBRIDGE, England – As an entertainment and tourism insider to these fields, the self-described Superblue understands what travelers should expect when spending their hard-earned cash on holidays across the United Kingdom and internationally. In “I was Superblue” the author shares his experiences with holiday makers as well as those wishing to work in these lucrative industries so that they know what to expect.
In a series of autobiographical tales, Superblue shares nearly 30 years’ experience in the entertainment and tourist industries. While his stories are meant to be entertaining for readers, he also hopes that they will learn a thing or two from him. He believes that his stories will advise travelers on what to expect while on holiday in the United Kingdom and abroad, and how to get the best value and experience for their money.
Having worked as an entertainment manager and stand-up comedian at holiday centers across Europe, Superblue saw firsthand how many companies run their holiday destinations. While some sat at the top of their class, there were many that ran their companies poorly for holiday makers and guests as well as employees. He began writing a book as a guide for entertainers, managers and company owners on what they should be providing guests, and then rewrote “I was Superblue” to impart this knowledge and appeal to holiday makers everywhere.
“Those in the industry should know what to provide their guests in the first place,” Superblue says. “More often than not, holiday makers and travelers are just not aware of what they should be provided with when paying top prices for getaways.”
With an estimated 4 million extra British travelers expected to stay at holiday centers and resorts in the United Kingdom this year alone, Superblue hopes that he can help guests get the best holiday for their money. With his humorous and sometimes outrageous stories, he hopes to entertain and educate readers on how to have the holiday of a lifetime.
About the Author:
Superblue created his character while working at a Holiday Centre in the 1980s, and lives to tell how all aspects of holiday entertainment should be run in a professional, open and transparent manner while remaining safe, valuable and above all, fun. Superblue now exists as a cartoon character depicted in a variety of situations throughout the book.
