Her mother instilled in her an insatiable love for history and reading. Her father passed on the inspiration that music can bring. When not writing her novels, Jillian is likely to be found pouring over history books and Victorian novels with a highlighter in hand.An air-force brat, Jillian grew up in Montana, but had the opportunity to live in Panama for three magical years. After a short sojourn in central Texas, then Ohio, she returned to her beloved home state and graduated college with a degree in Social Sciences with concentrations in Education and Psychology.She lives on the windswept prairie at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Montana with her husband, four kids, and a spoiled Black and Tan Coonhound named Beags. Her husband is a gifted musician and Jillian has been known to join him on stage to sing. By day she is the Human Resource Manager for a local agricultural cooperative.Jillian is a painter, a plant hoarder, and an inflexible but enthusiastic yogi.
