Duane and his six siblings were raised in Compton, California, by mom, Blondell, and dad, Maxcy (now deceased), and were always told to follow their dreams and achieve but also to contribute to society and give back to the community. Duane loves music (especially jazz and funk), diddles on the bass guitar, and loves all sports and animals. Squirrels are welcome in his backyard.
