She also wrote a series of twenty-five articles published in the magazine, Jewelry Making, Gems and Minerals.
She received degrees in literature, writing, and history from La Roche College, Allison Park, PA, graduating suma cum laude, and was honored as Salutatorian. She taught writing at Duquesne University on a fellowship.
