She has been teaching for thirty-four years and is currently teaching in Monroe. Liz and her husband, Dan, live in Snohomish, and their children all went in to the teaching profession. Meggie teaches high school math in Montana; Sara teaches family consumer sciences in Washington, and Jake taught third and fourth grade in Nevada.
