She is also the Founder/CEO of READucation Consulting, an intensive reading clinic, providing a literacy-based focus on reading education and development. She founded READucation Consulting for two reasons. First, she is beyond passionate about EVERYTHING literacy! As an educator of 26 years, Shatton holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelors Degree in Social Science, specializing in Sociology, a Masters of Arts Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum & Instruction, as well as a Masters Degree in Education, specializing in Elementary Education.
