When Joseph, a full-time software developer, complained about the difficulty of finding clean, happy fantasy books, Julie jokingly suggested that he should write his own. To her surprise, he did. At first Julie, a voracious reader and writer of fantasy and romance, just gave feedback. However, we soon realized that as writers, like most things in our lives, we are better working together.
