Steven received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University-Idaho and his Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Washington University in addition to being a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). While Steven has put in years behind a keyboard, he has always found other ways to engage and connect with people around him. Steven worked an adjunct professor at Whitworth University from 2018 to 2020; today, he co-hosts a tax focused podcast (the Retirement Tax Podcast) that thousands of taxpayers tune into each month, hosts a podcast teaching financial advisors how to deliver more value through tax planning and is a nationally recognized speaker on tax-related topics. Steven also writes extensively, having been published in U.S. News, Advisor Perspectives, Rethinking65 along with the regular articles he writes for Retirement Tax Services.
