When Melanie isn't googling about octopuses and wildebeests, she's petting dogs and cats galore. While enjoying a forty-year career in hairdressing, and owning a dog kennel and grooming business on her family's farm, this lady uses her spare time writing, bee-bopping with her grandchild, and hunting for morel mushrooms in the spring.
