He is the author of Indian Horror Cinema: (En)gendering the Monstrous (Routledge, 2018). He has published numerous articles on Indian cinema and has presented papers at several international and national conferences. His research interests include film studies, gender and sexualities, women's studies and cultural studies. He has been twice Executive member of Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA).
