She is an avid reader and passionate writer whose heart goes out to kids all around the world. Sharon was born in the Commonwealth of Dominica but migrated to Canada in 1999. Since the age of twelve, Sharon has worked as a health-care aide providing help and support to the elderly and children of various backgrounds. She was a kindergarten teacher for one year and is now pursuing her dreams as a published writer. In 2004, her poem “It Seemed to Me” received Editor’s Choice Award. Sharon shares her work on the World Poetry Movement website and in 2012 was a finalist in the World Poetry Competition. Her poem “Applaud Them” is featured in Stars in Our Hearts, a classic poetry collection. In 2013, her work will be featured in two more poetry books, titled International Who’s Who in Poetry and The Best Poets and Poems of 2012.lihat lebih sedikit
