He has three daughters and four sons whom have not left his eyesight. Born in 1953 he has attained a wealth of experience in both social and political disciplines which has coerced the writing of his first book, Strides and Struggle. Calistus whos nicknamed Corey is a lover of marine life and spends his extra time fishing other than working the farm. He is a community person, gives voluntary time to the Credit Union Movement. He has served as a civil servant for twenty seven years in the field of agriculture and rural development in Saint Lucia. His study in agribusiness at the University of Guelph has enabled him to face the real world in a professional and positive discipline.
