He migrated to the United States in April of 1974, took up residence in Los Angeles, California, then to Brooklyn, New York, Augusta, Georgia.
He moved to Columbia, South Carolina, thereafter where he attended Benedict College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration. He then picked up residence in Central America.
