I will soon be approaching my 80th birthday, and my family has no knowledge of the early years of their grandparent's and beyond. My book will provide some family history, some good and some sad that would otherwise not ever be known.
My home is in Chicago, Illinois where I have spent the bigger part of my life, except for nine years in Greensboro, North Carolina during the Depression years, and two years in California in the 60's. I worked for Illinois Bell telephone company (now AT&T) for 34 years and retired in 1981. I lost my devoted husband in 2008 and cherish his memory. During my retirement years I have become somewhat disabled, and rely on my son and daughter's loving care to see me through my remaining years.lihat lebih sedikit
