She has lost and maintained a weight loss of 79 pounds without any medical intervention or weight loss gimmicks. She did it by using common-sense strategies that can be adopted for a lifetime. Dr. Flood shares her story with the hope of motivating and inspiring others to adopt a healthier lifestyle. She has made a commitment to never allow her FAT Girl to ride her back ever again. Dr. Flood gained her doctorate degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Her research pursuits include female leadership development, teacher development, and health and wellness. She has spent the last fifteen years of her life as an educator and motivational trainer.
