She worked twenty years in the field of international finance, establishing Intercurrency Exchange, Inc., in New York. After relocating to Europe in 1995, she concentrated on her writing, pursuing a career in journalism as diplomatic editor of Austria Today in Vienna, Austria. She lives with her husband and four children in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC and in Vienna, Austria.
