Arthur Jaggard is an ordained American Baptist Minister who has served as a denominational consultant to churches and pastors across the United States. He currently serves as the lead pastor to First Baptist Church of Anderson, Indiana. Arthur’s e-mail is artjaggard@yahoo.com.
He is a Fellow in the Oxford Society of Scholars and recently completed a Merrill Fellowship at Harvard. He says he likes bright colors, old cars and time sitting in a tree. He is a devoted husband in love with his wife Deborra. He is unashamedly devoted to Jesus Christ and His Word.
In the face of increasing societal pressures and catastrophes Arthur strives to live the passage in Isaiah chapter 60:1-3:
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD shines over you.
Behold, darkness covers the earth,
and thick darkness will cover the peoples;
but the LORD will shine upon you,
and His glory will appear over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your radiance.
