In her late teens, she moved to Marlborough in New Zealand. During her long career in manufacturing, she held positions varying from trade-union representative to employer. In the seventies, she performed as a vocalist with several bands. In the nineties, her career path led her into local politics, serving the community as a District Councillor and Trustee on several local Trusts. She retired early this century to devote her time wholly to her lifelong love of painting and writing. Since attending several writer-workshops and taking a course in Creative Writing at the local Institute of Technology, writing has become a near fulltime occupation. She has written numerous short stories. "Somewhere Else" is her first novel. She is married with two adult children and four grandchildren.lihat lebih sedikit
