story to his high-school English teacher. Th is collection contains some
of his personal favourites and spans a period of his life spent exploring the
world, experiencing numerous cultures and meeting countless colourful
characters, many of whom have attained a place in his fi ction. He lives
in Durban with his wife Glodina, daughter Sydelle and their Golden
