She enjoys hymns as well as contemporary Christian music. She has studied music at local universities in Mobile, Alabama where she resides, including church music and worship leadership. She holds a Bachelors and Master's degree in Educational Media from the University of South Alabama with a concentration in music. She teaches private piano, organ and voice instruction and sings with Bella Voce of Mobile, a Premier Women's Chorus.
