It was also then that she knew she wanted to be a writer for the rest of her life. Carrying this love to college, she majored in journalism and minored in English at Wayne State University. But, struggling to obtain a permanent, professional career in the competitive field of journalism, she turned to the one thing that started it all: poetry. Her next endeavor is a novel, which is currently in progress.
