In fact, I am the type that would rather read than write. I got this idea in my head about something that had happened to my daughter, a friend of hers and myself one day on a trip to our local mall. After thinking about it, the idea just started flowing out of me, and before I knew it, I had a book.
I would have never even come up with the idea if I wasn't such a vampire freak. I have read just about twenty or so books about vampires and watched even more movies. But I have always been the type that wanted something more from them. I could see myself killing vampires and having all their powers, but not killing people. This book series has given me the chance to express that. Being a wife and mother has always been what I have wanted to do in life. Writing these books has given me something else to look forward to. I have been married for twenty-two years, and I have a wonderful son and a beautiful daughter. We have lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for almost twenty-two years. I have written these books, in the hopes, that there are people out there like me. Who want to read something different from the same-old vampire book.
