After leaving school and college with a GNVQ in health and social care, I worked within this industry as a family support worker. During this time, I switched careers to go into photographic modeling work, which lasted six years; most of my location shoots were down the South Coast. My interest and love of the sea, countryside, and marine life developed at this time, and I began to write poems about these subjects. I have had various poems published by Forward Press including an anthology of poems. Also some work published by Cherry Orchard Publishing and First Time Magazine UK.
After meeting my future husband, in Middlesex, we got married, and I started writing my first novel when I was eight months pregnant with my first child. We moved to the South Coast, East Sussex. Having raised my son for four years and spending many times in children’s bookshops and libraries. I decided to revisit my writing work and complete my first children’s book, Dreaming of Dolphins, when my son started school. In this time, I was expecting my second child and had started to write a sequel. Currently my sons are five years old and seven months old. My family and two cats all live close to the sea in East Sussex.lihat lebih sedikit
