old, Gwen began singing in the church choir, participating in plays and talent shows from elementary through junior high school. At fourteen years old, she
auditioned and was accepted at the Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts in Washington D.C in the Vocal Major Department.
She graduated in 1984 from Duke Ellington. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to travel across the United States and over the world including
Jamaica, England & Russia in musical theatre. She has performed with various gospel artists over the years such as the Richard Smallwood Singers,
Lynette Hawkins, Maurette Brown-Clark and Lacresia Campbell to name a few.
Currently Gwen lives in Maryland where she continues to serve the Lord with the talents and gifts with which he blessed her. She has two daughters Mycah
