John Allen Boyd is alive and well. Living in Louisville, Kentucky. Raised in Dunedin, Florida. He abides with PTSD. And he watches the human comedy. Signal points in his life include being a musician, a teacher of Latin, English, and other subjects, an Army officer, an orthopedic technician, a laborer, a man addicted to writing and reading, reading, yes, reading. He has milked cows, coon hunted, sailed boats. Still learning from students - all levels, pre-school through graduate school. Often with laughter. He has survived joys and superstitions and trauma and introspection. He accepts that he is a part of all that he has met.
