William A. Kelly (Bill) was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Kelly (Bill) was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. After graduating high school, he inlisted on the United States Air Force and flew 21 combat missions with the 8th Air Force as navigator-bombardier (radar) in B-17’s fighting over Germany in WW2. He became a First Lieutenant before the age of 20.
After the war he entered Princeton and graduated with a BS degree in chemical engineering class of 49. Bill worked for Lever Brothers (soaps and detergents) for 35 years, and retired at the age of 60 as Vice President of the Personal Products division.
Bill married Ruth Walker of Duluth Minn. the week after she graduated from Wellesley-June ’52. They have been married over 50 years and have 3 children and six grand children.
This is Bill’s 4th book all written after he retired.lihat lebih sedikit
