Daniel Oswaldo Beteta Castillo is a native of Quetzaltenango,

since he was young, he showed artistic and cultural talents. He
was a public speaker during his adolescent years. He studied
Accounting in the Western Commercial Sciences School in
Quetzaltenango and Economics at the Dr. Mariano Galvez
University of Guatemala. He earned a Master’s degree in
Multicultural Education as well as a doctorate with an emphasis
on leadership and missions at the Fuller Theological Seminary
in Pasadena, California. He has been an ordained minister in the
Presbyterian Church (USA) for more than twenty-six years, and
has served in different ministries.
Daniel is married to his beloved wife, Ruth, and together
they have three handsome sons: Daniel Oswaldo, Juan Alberto
and Ronald Josué. God likewise gave them their beautiful
daughter, Ana Ruth, all of whom reside in the United States.
