This is her first real novel, though she has been writing since she was four. Celestine lives with her mom, dad, and two brothers in Andover, Massachusetts. She started writing Full Heart, Pure Soul when she was nine, and finished it in a course of 3 months around her 10th birthday. Celestine won 2nd place for the Most Original Poem in the Massachusetts Science Poetry Contest in 2012.
