Holland and Shark describe why Normandy is important and answer
some of the confusing issues that surround WWII and its history. The
book teaches the story of the memorial shore beginning with Caesar’s
Gallic Wars and ending in the defeat of Germany explained through the
voice of a child. Children and adults both will enjoy learning about King
William, King Edward, D-day and the Invasion of Normandy at an
