Katrine grew up in the middle of England, miles from the coast. Her aim was always to live within sight and sound of the sea, a dream which came true in December 2009 when Katrine and her husband moved from mainland Scotland to the Shetland Isles. It’s a rare day now when Katrine doesn’t get to walk on the beach with her beloved dogs, seal spotting, bird watching, just ‘being’ next to the ocean in sight of Sumburgh Head.
