As a young woman I went to agricultural college and worked milking cows,rearing calves and pigs. I love horse riding and long distance endurance was my passion. I have three Malamute dogs that are the inspiration for this book, along with the wonderful woodland and mining history that are on my farm. I have two adult children and two granddaughters.
