She was the founder of the Lyngarde Writers Group in Ottawa, which is now in its third decade.
Kathenor died peacefully at her home in Ottawa on Saturday, November 5, 2005. Her Literary Executors are in the process of publishing her completed works including an epic SF trilogy, short stories and poetry.
