She is a former teacher, coach and school counselor at Wolcott High School in Wolcott, Connecticut where she served 33 years and is presently a retired life member of the Connecticut Education/ National Education Associations.Domenica is also a graduate of The Institute of Children’s Literature in West Redding, Connecticut. A self-taught artist, Domenica works in oils, pastels, watercolor and pen & ink and creates children’s novels and picture books.Savadio’s Secrets is her first young adult novel. Its cover was designed and drawn by the author.
