He is the father of five girls, two boys and twice divorced. He currently resides in Reno, Nevada and has been in the entertainment field all of his life as a manager, producer, writer, performer and director.
Through the years Conners' various interests have included the magical arts, cooking, horse racing, politics, philosophy and the environment.
During the 1960's he created and toured special event promotions across all of North America. In 1965 he conceived, wrote, and co-produced a children's show called "The Magic Land of Mother Goose".
In 1972, Steven J. Conners, conceived, co-wrote and staged for Warner Bros. Entertainment, the first living cartoon show. It was simply called "The Bugs Bunny Show". In 1976 he conceived, wrote, co-produced and toured a lavish impersonator show called "A Bi-Sextenial Event: What a Drag!"
In 1981, Conners acquired all of the rights and titles for "Dr. Silkini's Great Ghost Show" and "The Asylum of Horrors". In 1982 he wrote, produced and toured these live shows across the United States. In 1988, Conners produced the "Great Ghost Show" in Hollywood, California and formed a company to manage and tour special retail-broadcast events.
In 1993, after traveling across the country during a promotional tour and talking with hundreds of people, an idea began to arise. In a matter of weeks, he had written the novel "A-B-C".
It was late in life that he discovered a passion for politics. As an enthusiastic American, he worried much about the way his country seemed to be headed toward an authoritarian state.
Because of his curiosity about politics and his dislike of many of the talk show pontificators, in 2004, he created a radio format simply titled: "The Voice of Reason", acting as it's host and moderator.
He has also authored a book titled: "A Voice of Reason" which was written to remind the American people of our history and responsibilities that we owe to ourselves, and to this magnificent country.
Today, with many books in various stages of completion and several theatrical shows in progress, more seems to be the order of the day. What will Steven J. Conners bring forth in the future? Keep returning to this site to see what's happening.lihat lebih sedikit
