Later, Jeffries became an award-winning advertising agency creative director and board member of Rebound Christian Rehabilitation Center which Gordon Weekley headed. During his board tenure Jeffries created numerous pro bono fund-raising ad campaigns that brought a million dollars annually into the Center. As an ad writer, Jeffries won over 600 awards for creative excellence, including three first-place honors from the Ad Club of New York and a coveted Clio award.
